The Limbaugh Letter: Bullet Bulletin
"Green" Bullets
from "The Limbaugh Letter" September 2005
I have more disappointing news for environmentalist wackos. [Seven] years ago, under (no surprise) the Clinton Administration, the army began using lead-free "green bullets." The ammunition, made of nylon and tungsten, was supposed to be kinder and gentler to the environment. But with one million rounds fired at Camp Edwards' shooting range, new research shows the "green" bullets were no better for the environment than the old ammo. "It's frustrating," Col. William FitzPatrick of the National Guard's Environomental Readiness Center told the Associated Press. "You're doing what you think are the right things. As science evolves, you wonder,'Am I in front of the curve or behind?' "
Let me answer the question this way. When it comes to bullets, bombs, and other weapons - the only curve that matters is the trajectory aimed at our enemies.
